Yes, that was an oversight on my part and has since been corrected. You do realize that iFixit is a community effort and that you also have the power to make changes to these guides when you find an issue, don't you? Your snarky complaint could have been a constructive piece of criticism accompanied by you fixing the problem you encountered, but it's so much easier just to ##&&%, isn't it?
So yeah, you go ahead and author your own guide with no help from anyone else and do it perfectly the first time.
By the way, I've fixed a dozen iPhones without owning a standoff screwdriver until just recently; now that I have it I still haven't had the opportunity to use it.
